Review - Flossie Malavialle
28/02/14

Much fun and frivolity was had at The Everyman on Friday 28 February, when our guest artist was the delightfully entertaining Flossie Malavialle. Accompanying her beautiful voice flawlessly on guitar, Flossie treated us to a terrific mix of traditional and contemporary songs, in English and in French, including some made famous by Edith Piaff and Jacques Brell. Flossie’s introductions included tales about herself and were as enjoyable as her songs, and she gave a superb performance of Je Ne Regrette Rien as an encore. All in all, it was ‘mint, like’!

Excellent spots from the floor – performed by Mike Green & Dave Tricker, Steve & Kate Dines, Terence Blacker, Gwendal Moele & Paul Riley, Aisling Urwin, and Steve Danby – many thanks.

We very much appreciate our wonderful audience for turning out on another cold, wet night – we couldn’t do it without you! Looking forward to seeing you all next time (Friday 28th March) when John Kirkpatrick makes a welcome return to The Everyman.
