Review - Steve Turner
31/01/14

What a lovely start to the New Year at the Everyman on Friday, with our guest – Steve Turner – who treated us to excellent interpretations of wonderful folk songs, mainly from the British tradition. Steve’s accompaniments, principally on English concertina, were brilliant - musically and technically. Of course, the Everyman crowd took every opportunity to join Steve in the many choruses – glorious sound.

Very impressive floor performers as well – thanks to Tony Simpson, Holly Johnston, Emma & Tom Hardy with Gwedal Moële (Trio Saozon), Dave Tricker, Bill Johnston & Sheila Darling, and Alie & Russ Barnes.

Thank you to our audience for making the journey on a horribly wet and windy evening. Hope to see you all next time (Friday 28 February) when the lovely Flossie Malavialle makes her first visit to the Everyman.
