Review - Pete Coe & Alice Jones
26/02/16

What a wonderful and informative evening we had with Pete Coe and Alice Jones at The Everyman Folk Club last night with their superb show, The Search For Five Finger Frank. Together they performed interesting variations and perfect arrangements of traditional broadsides, ballads and dance tunes collected by Frank Kidson during the late 19th century - each beautifully and respectfully presented.

The evening included terrific floor spots from Matthew Robertson, Dave Tricker, Colin & Karen Cater, John Wright, and Terence Blacker – thank you all – and a couple of songs from us too.

Thanks as well to everyone in our wonderful audience for participating, and welcoming our guests and new visitors to the club. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again on Friday 25 March 2016 when our guests are Vicki Swan, Jonny Dyer & John Dipper – Purcell’s Polyphonic Party. It’s going to be a very Good Friday!
